Project Title: Movie Magic: Dark Water

"A mother and daughter, still wounded from a bitter custody dispute, hole up in a run-down apartment building, where they are targeted by the ghost of a former resident."

Photographed in 2017, Lamissah portrays the character of Natasha.

This project was a clever development focus and merge on the original Japanese film released in 2002 and the remake of 2005 connecting the dots of what both characters conveyed. Dani chose to merge the role of Natasha from both films in the first version she is seen wearing a yellow coat and in the second version a red coat similar to the role of Ceci, but to make it unique we took the element from the japanese visual and made it a little more interesting! This by far was Lamissahs most challenging project combining studio time, location at a local leisure center and underwater in the pool! It was SO much fun! the moments caught wouldn't have happened if we were limited to one area! The final images and film are outstanding!
